DRYER LINT CLEANING-QUESTION

Does our Maintenance Association take care of the Annual Lint Cleaning of our Dryers?
Called Total and they wanted $175.00 😱.
I remember someone coming to ALL the apartments a long time ago and doing the service for FREE but can't remember who 😔.

Can anyone please provide some input?..

Hello Denise,
You need to look at your Contract with Total if you have one
If you do, check to see what is covered, MOST units that have washer / dryers would / should have this service covered.
If not, there are plenty of Appliance Service Specialists listed either in the phone book. Or contact :

Upstate Status:

Although it makes sense to include in a Maintenance Contract (Fire-hazzard); it's not profitable enough and therefore not included/covered. Total has to contract this service thru a 3rd part. This is why the cost is so high ($175.00) for a non-complicated Maintenance Service.
